VALUE PROPOSITION

SHEET 2 : OUR IDEA AND THE NEED
Environmental issues are now a major concern in our world. We created Sunny
Camp, a company that is introducing products that will play a role in reducing human
consumption and its negative impact on the environment. We are camping lovers
who decided to combine practicality and sustainability in our gears. Imagine camping
far away from civilization and you run out of battery? After being confronted to this
multiple times we found the solution.
We sell camping tents that are powered with a solar panel. A tent with energy is very
useful because it’s hard to find electricity outdoors. Therefore, we offer this tent with
a light, fan, and a cellphone charger. At night you will also have an energy supply to
use on any items.
Our customers can be quite varied depending on the region and the season we are
in.
In fact, the purchase of a tent, especially one powered by solar energy, can undergo
a certain seasonality on the market. We are positioning ourselves on the American
market as well as on the French market. So the demand is spread out over the year
because the climates are different.
Our product meeting the need to have electricity at the campsite may as well allow
the consumers to have electricity in wild camping, or to not have to pay the electricity
on a campsite. Indeed, prices are getting higher and higher, so our offer could be
very interesting.
It is also varied because the energy produced by solar panels can be used to
recharge a light, a fan or simply to recharge an electronic device.
The need that is met with our tents is the need to have electricity ecologically and
efficiently through solar panels when you go camping.

SHEET 3 : OUR MARKET

Our company markets tents with integrated solar panels in the American and French
markets for innovation and solar energy, as well as camping.
Compared to 2019, the proportion of first-time campers across the U.S. grew
five-fold. COVID-19 proved a key driver behind the influx of many camping attributes,
including the 10.1 million households who camped for the first-time in 2020, of which
one-third attributed trying camping due to the belief that it is a safe way to travel and
desire to avoid crowds. More than 60% of these first-time campers plan to camp the
same or more in the coming year; across all campers, families are the group most
likely to spend more nights camping in 2021. Camping has become hugely popular
amongst the younger generation as 56% of campers are Millennials, however, it is
still very common amongst Generation Xers and Baby Boomers.
In France too, there is a particular craze for camping. The sanitary crisis has only
increased the number of French campers, more and more attracted by an ecological
holiday solution and convenient. In France, since the 60's, camping has always been
popular, both during the summer and the summer season. In fact, every year, more
than 10 million people go camping in France, including 3 million foreigners. France
has the second largest number of campsites in the world, behind the United States,
and the largest in Europe.
The competition is average in this market. Indeed, there is no product comparable to
ours. For the moment we can find some alternatives like the Camping Solar Lamp
commercialized by IVYSHION, the portable solar panel of Decathlon or the portable
solar panel for trekking of Univers Explorateur. Nevertheless, the project of Orange
Communications and Kaleidoscope about the prototype of the "Solar Concept Tent"
which, as its name indicates it, is a tent functioning thanks to solar energy, could
threaten the perenniality of our company.
